This role provides vital SAP knowledge and analytical support to the Mobile site Technical Services Department and the NAFTA Region. Expertise in general Evonik IT support and auditing is leveraged to support Technical Services. This role performs these support services to a high quality and safety standard.

Travel to support other Evonik sites in the North America Region will be required, up to 25%.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess in-depth technical and architectural knowledge in Evonik SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), and Project Systems (PS) modules.
  • Develop and deliver practical training in SAP modules (PM, MM, PS) and the Evonik Maintenance work process for North America sites.
  • Acquire and maintain systems knowledge in platforms such as PowerBI, EPIC, Avetta, InvoiceTrack and SAP Ariba to facilitate adoption & migration.
  • Create maintenance systems, including technical objects, task lists, maintenance plans, etc. & coordinate a team of full/part-time data entry personnel at times of peak workload.
  • Facilitate North American Plant compliance with Evonik Binding Technical Documents.
  • Possess a basic understanding of Mechanical Integrity, Risk Based Maitnenance, and other relevant strategies.
  • Understand basic technical plant documentation.
  • Resolve workflow problems and SAP problems by troubleshooting and coordinating with IT
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • HS Diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • 5 yrs. Minimum SAP experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet all required deadlines.
  • Ability to use common software systems such as Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and SAP.
