Job Title: Territory Sales Representative

Job Description
The sales representative will be assigned a specific territory and traveling will be necessary to perform standard sales activities including but not limited to visiting clients, understanding markets and market segmentation, defining customer needs & address them as appropriate, to promote and present the company's product/program solutions, manage sales cycle, continue prospecting activities and report as appropriate. The ideal candidate, in addition to a proven sales track record ideally has an extensive rolodex in the sectors or is well connected. This person needs to share responsibly represent the values of the company and be enthusiastic and passionate about the products and selling them. This position is remote and the candidate could be based in any of the target territory locations listed below.

Our client, a successful and growing researcher, manufacturer and distributors of a proprietary line of organic plant nutrition/bio-stimulant, fertilizer and other products with operations across the country and around the world. The company's lines of business include more than 100 proprietary products in different sectors, including: Agriculture, Turf & Ornamentals, Home & Garden, LCO, Public Health, and Animal Health.

Job Duties
Duties of the sales representative typically involve all that is related to selling and promoting the line of products offered by the company. The sales representative has to be familiar in such areas as fertilizers, plant nutrition/enhancement and how they affect crops, nutrition and nutritional program. Experience in the specialized area is expected by the employer. The main dusty of the sales representative is to open new markets and accounts and providing product training to distributors and end clients if required.
In this function the Sales Representative is responsible for the sales, marketing and technical activities in the area, budgeting process, and implementation of business/tactical plans developed
Sales representative should attend regional meetings and conferences to keep up with changes in the field and expand their product knowledge. Good communication skills are required to sell the products/programs to distributors or potential customers. Other duties will include creating and writing monthly and quarterly reports. Sales representative is required to attain computer skills related to programs and software utilized by the company.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in sales. Industry experience not required for the right candidate if they have a sales background and the candidate is willing to learn the business.

Education: Bacherlor's preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: DOE Salary $40-80,000 plus Uncapped Commission.

Territory Covered: Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina.
